The history of Falvey's Motors Inc. is what makes us who we are today! Learn all about the people and events that have shaped this family owned business since its creation in 1932!

Falvey's Motors is proud to be a family-owned business since our creation in 1932! Our humble beginning started when Clarence P. Falvey opened a gasoline and auto repair business on Ocean Avenue in New London, CT. Clarence operated the business with the help of his three sons Timothy, Richard and Robert, before they expanded the business to include a dealership in 1953. The three brothers decided to take their business even further by purchasing C&S Motors in New London in 1978. That location was the site of the first Falvey's Motors Dealership to offer AMC, Jeep, Renault and Peugeot vehicles across the street from the newly opened gas station. The second generation of Falvey's also opened our Norwich location in 1984, which is the location we still use today!

The third generation of Falvey's took over the family business; Timothy P. Falvey, Bob Falvey JR., and Rick Falvey JR worked together to grow into what we are today! The third and fourth generation of Falvey's is keeping the family tradition alive, with Timothy Falvey JR. (AKA TJ) now helping run the family business alongside Rick Falvey JR.

Falvey's Motors is more than a business, it is a community that expands far past the people who share the Falvey's name. We continue to offer the same high-quality customer service experience that helped turn our business into what it is today! Our roots as a gasoline and repair shop are strong to this day, and we approach every customer with care and caution as if their needs were our own! We are proud to continue shaping our community and serving their automotive needs just like we did in the 1930's.
